OUTREACH & MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

THE CONFIRMANDS ARE TEAMING UP WITH THE CRAYON INITIATIVE FOR AN ONGOING SERVICE PROJECT!  How can you help?  IT'S EASY!  Just save your unwanted crayons and drop them off at the church any time during the week (church office hours, Sunday mornings, before/after meetings or events, etc.).  Look for the marked containers in the Fellowship Hall!  You can bring in crayons that are used, broken and in all sizes and colors (the confirmation kids will sort them by color).  CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION!

PASTOR WILL AND THE CONSISTORY ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE CREATION OF THE PASTOR ROGER W. & MS. CYNTHIA R. STUART RUCC SUMMER YOUTH INTERN PROGRAM AND MEMORIAL FUND!  This new program will kick off THIS Summer and will be an annual seasonal position wherein young adults from the congregation (18-22 years of age) will be employed by RUCC for the Summer to serve the congregation, the community, and further our ministry-development into the future.  Interested in learning more?  CLICK HERE!  You may also contact Pastor Will or the church office.  Submissions are being accepted currently and the application process will conclude on April 28.

If your child is interested in participating in KIDS' CHORUS, please fill out a registration form.  (Click HERE to download &  print the form. Once completed return to the manila folder in the Welcome Center).  *[Parents who have already already filled out a form do not need to fill out a new one unless the information has changed.  If your child no longer wants to participate, please let Dar Dorsey know]*

DONATIONS NEEDED FOR THE FAMILY LIVING CENTER: We are looking for pillow donations for the Family Living Center. This is an ongoing (constant) need at the FLC because every child takes their pillow with them when they leave. FLC also has an immediate need for the following (in new or used condition): Twin sheets, full sheets, bath towels, wash cloths and hand towels. Donations may be placed in the Fellowship Hall.

The PHP FOOD PANTRY is located at Trinity United Methodist Church (3757 Lincoln Way East in Massillon). On the third Saturday of each month, they give out food to the needy residents of Perry Twp. They desperately need your help to keep their pantry shelves stocked so they can provide food to their clients. For those who would like to donate food items, we have a PHP grocery cart in the Welcome Center. THANK YOU for your generosity!

The PHP CLOTHES CLOSET is housed here at RUCC. At this time, our primary need is clothing for youth and children. We welcome any donations you might have. Donations can be dropped off when the Clothes Closet is open (Every Monday from 1 - 4 PM and every 3rd Saturday from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM). You may also drop off clothing donations during church office hours (M-W-F 9 AM - 3 PM and T-TH 9 AM - 1 PM).
