OUTREACH & MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

Richville Park has given us an opportunity to live into our Mission & Vision statements by helping serve our community at Bingo on Monday and Wednesday nights.  We need two volunteers on both Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5 - 7 PM to walk around the Bingo Hall selling tickets and collecting money for the month of February.  Not only is this a great community service, but the Park will donate $20 per night to our church for helping!  Please see Debbie Ciesielczyk or Karen Gerber if you are interested in helping.  There is also a sign-up sheet located in the Welcome Center.  Thank you!

Many thanks to our Finance & Stewardship Committee, speakers (Attorney David J. Simmons, Adam Dettweiler [Reed Funeral Home, Preplanning Representative]. Debbie Ciesielczyk and Pastor Will Stuart), and all attendees of our second End-of-Life Planning Seminar on August 31.  We appreciate your support and investment in this important ministry to help us all prepare for our homegoings.  Follow the links below if you want to download the memorial service and/or giving literature produced by our church:

* Funeral Planning Worksheet Packet

* End of Life Donor Brochure

KIDS' CHORUS:  If your child is interested in participating in Kids' Chorus, please fill out a registration form.  (Click HERE to download &  print the form. Once completed return to the manila folder in the Welcome Center).  *[Parents who have already already filled out a form do not need to fill out a new one unless the information has changed.  If your child no longer wants to participate, please let Dar Dorsey know]*

DONATIONS NEEDED FOR THE FAMILY LIVING CENTER: We are looking for pillow donations for the Family Living Center. This is an ongoing (constant) need at the FLC because every child takes their pillow with them when they leave. FLC also has an immediate need for the following (in new or used condition): Twin sheets, full sheets, bath towels, wash cloths and hand towels. Donations may be placed in the Fellowship Hall.

The PHP FOOD PANTRY is located at Trinity United Methodist Church (3757 Lincoln Way East in Massillon). On the third Saturday of each month, they give out food to the needy residents of Perry Twp. They desperately need your help to keep their pantry shelves stocked so they can provide food to their clients. For those who would like to donate food items, we have a PHP grocery cart in the Welcome Center. THANK YOU for your generosity!

The PHP CLOTHES CLOSET is housed here at RUCC. At this time, our primary need is clothing for youth and children. We welcome any donations you might have. Donations can be dropped off when the Clothes Closet is open (Every Monday from 1 - 4 PM and every 3rd Saturday from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM). You may also drop off clothing donations during church office hours (M-W-F 9 AM - 3 PM and T-TH 9 AM - 1 PM).
